Day 1: Arrival in New York

After a long flight from departure, we arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Start your journey to soothe yourself at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, then take in Manhattan’s landmarks at Grand Central Terminal and the Empire State Building.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral

A Catholic church built in 1879. It is approximately 100 meters high and has beautiful stained glass and sculptures inside.

grand central terminal

This station opened in 1913, and its beautiful beige marble is impressive. The decorations such as chandeliers and clocks are luxurious.

Empire State Building

A skyscraper completed in 1931. From the observation deck on the 86th floor, you can see a panoramic view of Manhattan, and the night view is also beautiful.
I entered the observation deck with a priority ticket that I had booked online in advance for an additional fee, but perhaps it was due to the big cold wave the day before (?) There weren’t many Ferris wheels, so I was able to get in with a regular ticket without any problems.

Day 2: Explore Lower Manhattan

Take the ferry from Battery Park and enjoy sweeping views of Manhattan, including the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. At night, feel the energy of New York while immersing yourself in the charm of jazz at Blue Note.

battery park

At the south end of the park is the ferry landing point for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The area is full of greenery and is dotted with historical landmarks.

blue note

A jazz club that opened in 1935. World-famous artists perform, and the atmosphere is inviting.

Day 3: Day trip to Niagara Falls

Visit the surprising and impressive Niagara Falls. Even though you are enveloped in the cold winter weather, you will be overwhelmed by the impressive waterfall. A special time to experience the power of nature while taking a day trip.

niagara falls

There are three waterfalls that straddle the United States and Canada: American Falls, Bridalveil Falls, and Canadian Falls. You can get close to the waterfall by boat.

Day 4: Arts and Entertainment

Encounter masterpieces from around the world at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and immerse yourself in the charm of art. At night, she watched the musical “The Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway. It was an emotional moment when she surrendered herself to the world of art.

Metropolitan Museum of Art

This museum was founded in 1870, and is divided into more than 200 rooms, displaying historical artwork dating back more than 5,000 years.

The Phantom of the Opera

A musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The spectacular stage and beautiful music are attractive.

Day 5: Day of return

On the last day, we departed from John F. Kennedy International Airport. We conclude our adventure in this wonderful city with a look back. It became a place I would like to come back to again.

Enjoy a comfortable stay at the New York Hilton Midtown. Although it is located in the city center, it has a quiet environment, making it the perfect base for sightseeing.

summary
